Along with this fasting helps to bring balance in Dosha’s. Fasting once a week is very helpful to keep  digestive system healthy and get rid of stomach pain and gas.

2. Eating Freshly Prepared food

In today’s fast paced hectic lifestyle we  mostly  eat packed , processed and refrigerated food . These foods are not good for digestive system and makes Agni ( Digestive Fire) weak. Also these food tend to vitiated the Vata dosha because they are dry in nature. The packed and proceesed food items contains preservative which impacts the secreation of Pitta dosha ( Digestive juice). 4. Choose food according to your body type

In Ayurveda, every individual is considered unique and there is no one fits all approach. So your food should be in accordance with your body type. Vata, Pitta and Kapha are main body type in Ayurveda. The digestive power of Vata type will be different from Pitta and Kapha and vice versa. Therefore food suitable for Vata type will not suit a person with a Kapha body type. To understand this better take a example of Sweet taste ( Madhur ras) is good for vata person however sweet taste will not be suitable for Kapha person as it will cause diseases in his/her body.

 When your digestion process in not working at its optimal level, toxins ( Ama)  starts to  accumulate in the digestive system. This Ama create obstruction in natural flow of vata dosha. The best remedy for detox is taking Triphala churna daily at night. Take 1 teaspoon of Triphala churna with luke warm water before going to bed helps to eliminate toxins.

 Castrol oil

You can also take 20 to 30 ml of Castor oil with lukewarm water or milk.  Castor oil remedy is to be used once in month. Panchkarma therapy is also very good way to eliminate toxins from the body.

6. Use Ayurvedic herbs & spices

Ayurvedic  herbs and spices are good home remedies for gas and stoamach pain.

1.   Carum seeds

Take 1 teaspoon of carum seed add one pinch of black salt or rock salt to it. Consume this  with lukewarm water will ease the stoamch pain and gas instantly.

2. Asafeotida

 Home remedies for gas include use of asafeotida. Take a pinch  Aseodita then add  1 teaspoon of ghee to it . Consume it before meals helps to relieve gas.

3.  Corriander seed

Corriander seeds are known to be good for digestion. Tea prepared with corriander seed and  dry ginger helps to relieve flatulance. 

4. Tomato Juice

Take 1 tomato and  make juice from it. Now add hot water and baking soda 1/2 teaspoon to it. Drink this juice to get relief from gas and indigestion
