Bhumi amla consists of umpteen phytochemicals – plant-based compounds that provide useful medicinal properties. These comprise lignans, flavonoids, glycosides, alkaloids, ellagitans, phenylpropanoids, gernanin, amarin and corilagin. It also contains kaempferol, niranthin components derived from the leaves.

How to use Bhumi Amla

 Bhumi Amla can be consumed in various forms, including:

  • Bhumi Amla Powder (Churna):   Take 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon Bhumi Amla powder mixed with honey or warm water, everyday after meals.
  • Bhumi Amla Juice: Take 10 to 20 ml of juice add equal quantity of water to it. Drink it before breakfast once a day.
  • Bhumi Amla Tablet/Capsule : One to two tablet or capsule two times a day after lunch and dinner with water.
The accurate dose of Bhumiamla may very form person to person and depends upon age, severity and condition of patient. One must consult certified ayurvedic practioner before starting this herbs.

Home Remedies of Bhumi Amla

In  Asthma  : Take  Bhumi Amla churna  1 to 2 gms then add little amount of Honey to it. Licking this 3 to 4 times helps in relieving asthma and cough.

For Jaundice & Anemia :  Take Bhumi Amla leaves, Erand( Patra) leaves, Lavang 6,  black pepper 7, jeera 1 gms mix all these and make juice. This will help in bringing down the the bilirubin level. It will also help improve the haemoglobin levels in the body.

Helpful  heavy menstrual bleeding: Take  Bhumiawala roots and make powder from it. Take this powder woth rice water helps is stopping the excessive bleeding.  

For Fatty Liver & Enlarged spleen :  The juice of whole plant is beneficial for management of fatty liver and to decrease the size of spleen. 

Take 15 ml of Bhumi Amla juice empty stomach in the morning.
