Anantmool is a slender laticeferous, twinning, perennial, fast growing prostate or semi erect wiry shrub with spare, long rigid, tuberous, woody and aromatic root system.The stems are numeruos, narrow, slender,terete, thickened at the nodes and have snillay latex. Lower leaves are narrower and often variegated with  white lines above , while the broader upper leaves are dark green and not variegated.

How to use Anantmool

Anantmool can be consumed in various forms, including:

  • Anantmool Powder (Churna): Mixed with milk or warm water, often with a pinch of cardamom for taste.
  • Decoction: Prepared by boiling the Anantmool in water, useful for digestive  issues. Dosage : 20 to 30 ml.
  •  Topical ApplicationUse Anantmool based creams or paste for skin ailments
  • Part Used :  Root
  • Dosage :  Adults 2 to 3 gms churna two times a day
  •                   Childrens  1 to 2 gms churna  two times a day

Home Remedies of Anantmool

In  Menstrual Disorders and heat in body :

  • Ingredients :
  •   2 gms of Anantmool powder
  •  1 gm of cummin seed powder 
  •   1 gm of candy sugar. 
  •  4 gms  ghee ( clarified butter) 
  •  Method :

Mix anantmool powder, cumin seed powder and candy sugar. Then add ghee ( clarified butter) to it.

Licking this 2 to 3 times  a day for 42 days helps in reliveing excess of heat in the body and stops the excessive bleeding .   

For Indigestion, Anorexia :  

  • Anantmool acts as a digestive tonic, helping relieve acidity, bloating, and constipation.  T

    • Ingredients:
      • ½ teaspoon Anantmool powder
      • 1 cup buttermilk
    • Method:
      1. Mix the Anantmool powder with buttermilk.
      2. Drink this after meals to soothe the digestive tract and improve digestion.

Helpful in Acne & Pimples : 

Anantmool has cooling and anti-inflammatory properties that soothe skin irritation, reduce acne, and improve complexion.

  • Ingredients:
    • 1 teaspoon Anantmool powder
    • 1 tablespoon yogurt
    • A pinch of turmeric
  • Method:
    1. Mix Anantmool powder, yogurt, and turmeric to form a paste.
    2. Apply the paste evenly on your face and let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
    3. Rinse with lukewarm water. Use this remedy twice a week for radiant, clear skin.

Cautions And Contraindications

Yes .Generally this herb goes well with most dietary supplement. However if you are taking more than one product per day please consult your doctor for opinion.

3. With western/modern medicine

Seek your doctors advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicine. Some ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
