Summer is the season where there is a\u00a0 severe heat conditions all over. The scorching sun sucks the\u00a0 water contain of the body leading to dehydration.\u00a0 However Ayurveda, the ancient science of\u00a0 health has given us a detail routine to prevent us\u00a0 from this summer heat. Let\u2019s glance through this season from an Ayurvedic view.<\/p>\n

This season is known as \u2018Greeshma Rutu\u2019 according to Ayurveda.<\/p>\n

Mid-April to mid-June (approximately) is considered as\u00a0Grishma<\/em>\u00a0(summer) season. Environment is prevalent with intense heat and unhealthy wind. The river-bodies\u00a0 are dried and the plants appear lifeless.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0predominant\u00a0Rasa<\/em>\u00a0is\u00a0Katu<\/em>\u00a0(pungent)and\u00a0Mahabhuta<\/em>\u00a0are\u00a0Agni<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Vayu<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The strength of the person become less, deposition of\u00a0Vata Dosha<\/em>\u00a0occurs, but the vitiated\u00a0Kapha Dosha<\/em>\u00a0is pacified during this season.\u00a0Agni<\/em>\u00a0of the person will remain in mild state.<\/p>\n
